VyTag Selection for Retail Stores
In a retail store the system has three parts: the label on the shelf, the gateway that covers the store, and VyTag Cloud Software that manages the price.
Gateway
- At least one gateway is installed in every store
- Manages up to 3,000 labels across 300 m²
- Passes the update it receives over the network to the labels via Bluetooth
- Installed with a single cable over PoE

- Reads your price source and sends the update to the gateway

Fashion and textilesWhere end-of-season discounting hits hardest. Many sizes and colours means a high label count; hanging goods use clip mounting.
Electronics and white goodsProduct names and specifications are long and prices move often. The 4.2" square label is preferred here, with the 7.3" six-colour display for the campaign board.
DIY and hardwareVery high SKU counts, narrow shelf rails, frequent price movement. Cost per label is what matters here; 2.1" models are used.
Books, toys, cosmetics and general retailSmall products, narrow shelves, heavy promotion. The 2.1" and 2.9" labels mount on a rail.
VyTag GatewayThe gateway covering the area distributes the update from the software to every label on the shelf. One device manages up to 3,000 labels across 300 m²; larger areas use more than one gateway.

Label Templates Designed for Your Business
You decide what goes where on the label. Your store template is set up once; when a seasonal sale starts the template does not change, only the price and campaign fields are refreshed.

- A separate template is defined for seasonal sales and short campaigns; when the campaign ends the label returns to its previous template.
