Aisle ends and promotion islands. The wider surface carries the discounted price and the campaign artwork together; when the campaign ends the label returns to its previous template.

Meat, deli, dairy and ice cream. Two models are built for damp, cold conditions and operate down to −25 °C; the F21 model is IP67 rated.

Dry GoodsMain aisles and the dry goods section — the body of the system, where most of the labels sit. VyTag S21 and S29 standard models are used.
ProducePrices change throughout the day in this labour-intensive aisle. VyTag W35 or W43 Bar is selected for counters exposed to moisture and splashes.
Cold ChainMeat, deli, dairy and ice cream; damp, cold conditions are hard on a standard label. VyTag F21 and VyTag F26 Freezer are used.
PromotionsAisle ends and promotion islands, where short-lived campaigns are set up and taken down. VyTag W35, W42 or the D73 information display is selected for the placement.
VyTag GatewayThe gateway covering the area distributes the update from the software to every label on the shelf. The manufacturer reference for Gateway One is 3,000 labels across 300 m²; larger areas use more than one gateway.

The label count matches the number of product lines (SKUs) on the shelf, not the number of units in stock. The exact figure comes out of a shelf count.
The cloud software works over a POS or ERP connection, bulk import from Excel, and an API. Your till system remains the price source; the ESL only reflects that price on the shelf. The scope of the integration is assessed against the software you use.
A change sent from the software reaches the labels through the gateway. The time depends on the number of labels and the gateway layout.
The freezer family includes VyTag F21, VyTag F26 and VyTag F42. The model is selected for the shelf layout and operating conditions.
Up to five years in a scenario of five updates a day. Battery construction is either built-in or replaceable depending on the model, as shown in its technical table.
